ReDormin contains a specific extract of Valerian and Hops Ze 91019. This specific extract has demonstrated efficacy and tolerability in numerous clinical trials. Each tablet contains extracts equivalent to dry: Valeriana officinalis root 1.25 g, Humulus lupulus fruit 360 mg.

Directions for use

Recommended dosage and directions

Adults and children over 12 years: Take 2 tablets, 1 hour before bed.

Children 6-12 years: Take 1 tablet,1 hour before bed.

For best results take ReDormin for 2 weeks minimum to improve sleep quality and help restore healthy sleep patterns.

Should you find your sleep disrupted again due to stress, jet lag or lifestyle factors you may wish to take a pack of ReDormin to re-establish normal sleeping patterns. 

Tolerability

ReDormin tablets are easy to take and well tolerated at the recommended dose. 

ReDormin has no morning drowsiness or rebound insomnia recorded. 6

ReDormin is very well tolerated. Very occasionally, individuals may experience a skin reaction after taking ReDormin, resulting from sensitivity to the ingredients, which will resolve after ceasing the treatment. It is important to speak with a healthcare professional if you are concerned about possible side effects.
How does ReDormin differ to other products containing Valerian and Hops?

ReDormin is clinically researched, it is the exact product that has been used in numerous clinical trials and research. This is very important for natural medicines as there can be great variance between products, even if they appear to use the same active ingredients, due to the part of the plant that is used, growing methods, harvesting processes and manufacturing methods. The outcomes of clinical studies for natural medicines may therefore only apply to the exact product that has been tested. 

Can ReDormin be taken in pregnancy and lactation?

There is no evidence for any concern when using ReDormin in pregnancy and lactation, however, there are also no clinical studies that have been conducted with ReDormin in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. As a result, ReDormin tablets should only be taken during this time under the advice and supervision of a healthcare professional.

Can ReDormin be given to children and adolescents?

Where appropriate, ReDormin may be used by adolescents 6 years and older. If you have specific questions or concerns, it is important to speak to a healthcare professional.

Should ReDormin be stopped before surgery?

It is recommended to stop ReDormin 1 week prior to surgery. However, it is important to discuss this with your healthcare professional, including your anaesthetist and surgeon.

Does ReDormin have added gluten?

No, Redormin has no added gluten.

Does ReDormin contain lactose?

No, ReDormin does not contain lactose.

Will ReDormin affect my ability to drive and operate machinery?

ReDormin tablets taken according to the recommended dose do not affect the ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery. However, taking ReDormin tablets immediately before driving a car or operating hazardous machinery is not recommended. The effect of ReDormin tablets may also be elevated by the consumption of alcohol.
